So heres the scoop.
There is an OCT Tournament going on right now called the "Tournament of Rings"

I found the concept of this Tournament to be quite fascinating, and had planned on entering myself, but as It turned out, I had gotten there just a little too late, so I was forced to sit this one out (good thing to, since if I had joined this tournament I would have never gotten my Portfolio done XD)
Anyway, I was just in time to start watching the tournament from the beginning of round 1 onward, and during this time, I've taken a particular liking to the two teams pictured here:

's Danny & Eli (pictured left)
and

's Santin & Kin (pictured right)

I was cheering both these two one through the first round, but unfortunately for me they have now come head to head in the second round, and I don't know who to cheer for any more DX
So instead, I'm just enjoying watching the action unfold between them!

And I must say it has been quite entertaining thus far.

So heres a little gift art to the two of these hard workers and their characters

SPECIAL NOTES:
-You may notice that I used a different kind of paper for this drawing, and that I did a lot less clean-up on the final product. That is because the Tournament has a sort of fantasy feel to it, and I wanted to emphasize that element even more by giving the paper a more rugged look. I think it worked out pretty nice.
-Huntertallonian's characters where a heck of a lot of fun to draw! While Santin looked a little intimidating at first, I picked up on his design really quickly do to our similar drawing styles. (Also worth noting for the confused, That flaming guy on the far right and the guy with the big feather on his head below him are both Santin, he's just in two different forms for the picture. Same goes for the Navi-like fairy and the guy just behind Santin. That would Be Kin in both his fairy and normal forms).
-Shadowfan996's characters posed a little more of a challenge. While I was able to draw Eli quite easily due to having a lot of practice on similar characters while working on "Fuzzy Hearts", Danny posed a problem for me from the very beginning, but I think I still did a pretty good job with him on the final product.

Yeah, I love Jon Gray!
Ol' Dub is actually the very first artist I ever saw, and his work has been a major inspiration to me over the years

I'm actually a horrible colourist, so it will probably stay black and white for all eternity

But oh well, I'm still learning to colour and ink now, so maybe one day...

And sadly I lost the 2nd round, but its ok it was still fun.

Plus I'm entering the shotgun round. I figure if my second chance is there, I might as well take it!
